• Additional information on installing the R-package onto your computer can be found in the document InstallRInclVista.pdf (452 KB)
• After you have install R in its basic configuration you can automate the installation of support packages by copying the file Rprofile.site (2 KB) into the directory C:\Program Files\R\R-2.6.1\etc\ .
  Note: an existing Rprofile.site will be overwritten. For more information see the document InstallRInclVista.pdf .

• A brief tutorial is available in the document GettingStartedWithR.pdf (177 KB), which uses the files columbus.dbf (10 KB), Concord1.sav (21 KB) , and ScatterPlotMat.R (1 KB) in its exercises
